How to Use the Parlay Calculator

Enter your stake, choose your odds format, then add each leg of your parlay by typing in the odds for each pick. The calculator updates in real time showing your combined decimal odds multiplier, total payout if all legs win, and the combined implied win probability across all selections.

You can add up to 12 legs. The minimum is 2 — parlays with a single leg are just standard single bets, covered by the Odds Calculator.

What Is a Parlay Bet?

A parlay (also called an accumulator or "acca") combines multiple individual bets into one. All legs must win for the parlay to pay out. In exchange for requiring every pick to be correct, parlays offer dramatically higher payouts than single bets.

The combined odds are calculated by multiplying the decimal odds of each leg together. A 3-team parlay at -110 for each leg would give combined decimal odds of roughly 7.95, meaning a $20 stake would return approximately $159.

Parlays are high-risk, high-reward by nature. The probability of winning drops with every leg added. A 5-leg parlay where each pick has a 50% probability has only a 3.125% chance of hitting — roughly 1 in 32.

Parlay Probability Table

The table below shows how win probability drops as legs are added (assumes each leg has a 52.4% implied probability — equivalent to standard -110 odds):

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if one leg in a parlay is a push?

Most sportsbooks handle a push (tie) by removing that leg and paying out the remaining legs as a parlay. A 4-leg parlay with one push becomes a 3-leg parlay. The calculator doesn't account for pushes — remove any pushed legs manually.

Can I mix American and Decimal odds in one parlay?

Not directly in this calculator — select one format and enter all legs in that format. To mix, convert everything to decimal first: positive American odds convert as (odds/100)+1, negative as (100/|odds|)+1.

What's the maximum parlay payout at Canadian sportsbooks?

Payout caps vary by sportsbook. Most major Canadian books (Bet365, Sports Interaction, Bet99) cap parlays at $100,000–$250,000 CAD total. Always check your sportsbook's terms before placing a large parlay.

Does the parlay calculator account for the vig?

Yes — indirectly. Because the calculator uses the actual odds you receive (which already have the vig baked in), your implied probability will be slightly above the true probability. This is why parlays favour the bookmaker over time.
