How to Use the Card Generator

Select how many cards to draw and which deck type to use, then press Deal. Cards are drawn from a shuffled deck — each card can only appear once until the deck is reshuffled. The deck status shows how many cards remain. When the deck runs low, press Reshuffle to reset to a fresh shuffled deck.

Common uses include: dealing hands for poker, blackjack, or solitaire practice; random selection for party games; card-based probability exercises; and classroom demonstrations of sampling without replacement.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the same card appear twice?

No — each draw removes that card from the deck, just like a real game. Once all 52 cards have been dealt, the deck status shows empty. Press Reshuffle to get a fresh randomised deck.

What's the probability of drawing a specific card?

From a fresh 52-card deck: 1/52 (≈1.92%) for any exact card, 4/52 (≈7.69%) for any specific rank, 13/52 (25%) for any specific suit. Probabilities shift with each draw as the deck shrinks.

Can I use this for blackjack practice?

Yes. Deal 2 cards for a starting hand, then deal individual cards as "hits." The running deck simulates card-counting scenarios — the remaining count updates with each draw.
